From Marrakech – take the directions to Essaouira. You will drive for about 3hrs, then 20km before ESSAOUIRA, right after OUNAGHA (little town) you will take the left turn in the round-about, direction – AGADIR
Follow the national Highway for about 1 Hour.

Take the national highway N1 in the direction – ESSAOUIRA.
You will drive for approximately 3 hrs.
You will pass a town called TAMANAR.
About 18kms (25mins) after TAMANAR, you will see a sign on the left saying PLAGE TAFENI
There will also be a blue and white sign for a hotel called “Tasgua-yan”Turn LEFT onto the road heading WEST…
We work closely with our trusted taxi driver, Said. He can pick you up from the airport, bus station or hotel (outside of a medina) and bring you straight to our door. The prices are for the whole taxi and you can fit up to 6 people in it.
Follow the road for approximately 12km (10mins). After the first beautiful view of the Tafedna bay you will see a gravel road on the LEFT.
At the top of the hill turn LEFT onto the gravel road (There is also a blue and white sign for the hotel tasgu-yan)
Continue on this gravel road for 2km (you will past a small village and mosque) until you go over a DRY RIVER BED and 50m afterwards turn RIGHT where there is a wooden sign for L’Ane Vert. We are at the of this road (700m).

from ESSAOUIRA to SMIMOU. From there take a shared taxi to TAFEDNA, be aware there aren’t any more taxi after 4:30pm. If you can’t find a taxi we can arrange our driver to bring you here for 165dhs.
We are a 30mins walk from the village along the beach. Ask a local to point us out!

take the bus at the train station click here to have the schedule ( 70 MAD ) or shared taxi ( 90MAD ) from MARRAKECH to ESSAOUIRA. When you arrive take a ” petit taxi ” ( 8 MAD ) to go the ” Gare Routiere ” (big bus station)

Take a Local Bus ( 40/60MAD ) from the ” Gare Routiere ” at INEZGANE towards Essaouira but ask to stop at SMIMOU. You cannot take CTM or SUPRATOUR as they will continue straight to Essaouira.
From Smimou take a shared taxi to TAFEDNA, be aware there aren’t any more taxi after 4:30pm. If you can’t find a taxi we can arrange our driver to bring you here for 165dhs.
